- Knowledge and understanding of functional business concepts and skills acquired through courses in management, accounting, marketing, communication, economics, business law, information technology, and human resources
- General knowledge of science, social science and language arts expected of graduates of a bachelor of science program

A 21.2-percent increase in the number of professional and related jobs is projected. Jobs will be found throughout private industry and government. Among the 20 fastest growing occupations, a bachelor's degree is a significant source of education and training for over half.
