Allied Health Degree

Associate of Science in Allied HealthThe Associate of Science in Allied Health allows students from a number of healthcare professions to advance their qualifications in the health and human services fields. Students trained in many medical technician or medical assistance programs, for example Medical Transcription, Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy, Radiology, Medical Records, or EMT/Paramedic, complete a broad range of general education and allied health core courses that provide expanded awareness of allied health as a field of knowledge and practice.

Allied Health Program

If you transfer 30 credits from a previous allied health specialty into our Allied Health Degree program, you need only take another 30 semester credits to complete your associate's degree. The 30 credits from a curriculum completed at another accredited school must be in the core courses in one of the following allied health fields:

  • Anesthesiology

  • Athletic Training

  • Cardiovascular Technology

  • Cytotechnology Diagnostics

  • Medical Sonography

  • Medical Illustration

  • EMT/Paramedic

  • Lab Technician

  • Medical Assistant

  • Histologic Technology

  • Blood Bank Technology
