Attend College Through A Variety Of Tuition Plans.
Through a variety of financial assistance programs, everyone can
afford to enroll in college. IU offers private student
financial aid: student loans, scholarships, and grants.

Methods of Payment
Advance Payment:
You can pay your tuition for the entire program in full
(by check, credit card, or debit card) and receive a 10%
discount. This 10% discount can be combined with
other scholarships or grants.
Tuition Reimbursement:
Many employers reimburse tuition for employees who
advance their knowledge and skills. Typically
an employee is reimbursed for tuition and/or fees that the
employee has paid to a qualified institution, provided that the
employee earns a "C" or better in the course. Ask your employer
for their specific policy and procedures.
Veterans Benefits: Our degree programs are approved for Veterans
Benefits. In coordination with the Department of Veterans
Affairs, IU will certify your enrollment.
DANTES: We are proud to be affiliated with DANTES, which
qualifies active duty military personnel for tuition assistance.

Sallie Mae: Sallie Mae provides generous
student loans to students of accredited institutions. Students
may elect to pay interest only while in school. Independence
University will help you with applications and the processing of
the paperwork.
In-House
Financing: Edu-Plan
loans are available to ALL students, regardless of your
credit history.
By-Course
Payment: IU now offers a course-by-course
payment option. Students must pay for each course
in advance.
Grants and Scholarships:
Many institutions such as hospitals/
employers; alumni organizations, healthcare industries, medical
equipment vendors, service providers, and pharmaceutical
companies, offer scholarships and grants for various categories
of students. Click on the link below for a listing of these
scholarships and grants.
Institutional Grant: Students who demonstrate special economic
hardship and who also demonstrate motivation and performance as
a student may be eligible for a grant of up to 50% of the entire
tuition. Other conditions or situations will apply, such as
whether the applicant is supporting a large family, is a single
parent, or has a recognized physical disability. The grant
applicant must maintain a 2.5 GPA average and complete an
average of three semester credits each 60 days.
