Masters in Nursing Degree
The Master of Science in Nursing prepares
graduates for advanced positions in the healthcare
environment. Four specialty concentrations are offered,
allowing registered nurses to specialize in community
health, gerontology, nursing administration, or wellness

Nursing will demonstrate:

evaluation methods, health program evaluation,

variety of healthcare settings.
Nursing is the largest and fastest
growing health occupation in the nation. Registered nurses
with advanced knowledge and degrees beyond the bachelor's
level are in high demand. Increasingly, management-level
nursing positions require a graduate or advanced degree in
nursing or health services administration. According to the
U.S. Department of Labor Occupational Outlook Handbook,
2006-07 Edition , median annual earnings in all health
services management fields in May 2004 were $60,430.
Salaries of those employed in the industries which employed
the highest number of health service managers ranged from
$60,000 to $87,000.
