REFER A FRIEND AND YOU AND YOUR FRIEND ARE AUTOMATICALLY
ENTERED INTO A DRAWING TO WIN A LAPTOP COMPUTER:
It’s easy! You have an opportunity to refer a friend, and
both of you will eligible for a drawing; just complete the
online forms, call, or complete the direct mail reply card,
and you will be eligible to win an HP laptop computer. Your
name will be entered into a drawing to be held on December 31,
2009.
RULES
- Only one entry per student that submits a bona fide
referral, at which time the student and referral each
automatically receives one entry to be eligible to win.
- The winners will be randomly selected from a computer
database of people who have either called, completed the
form at the URL provided, or have submitted a reply card by
direct mail. The odds of winning vary with the number of
qualified entries.
- The type and style of HP laptop computer awarded is at
the sole discretion of Independence University/CCHS. The
estimated value of the laptop is $1000.
- Winners must provide proof of identification upon request
of Independence University/CCHS.
- Winners not complying with the rules will be
disqualified.
- No purchase is required to enter or win.
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION:
The submission of registering to win the HP laptop is solely
the responsibility of the participant. Any taxes, customs,
duties, or other governmental levies on the HP laptop are
the responsibility of the winner.
ELIGIBILITY:
Recipients of direct mailers, emails, and phone calls from
university staff are eligible participants. Current students
of the college or affiliated colleges are also eligible to
win. Persons in the following categories are NOT eligible to
participate or win the contest:

Persons under 18 years of age on the
date of the drawing.

Persons who lack a high school
diploma or the equivalent.

Persons who, from and after June 1, 2003, were or are
employees or contractors of Independence University/CCHS
and affiliated colleges.

Persons who are immediate family
members of any person in the preceding category
(including mother, father, sister, brother, daughter,
son or spouse), regardless of where they live, or
persons who reside in the same household, whether
related or not to any person in the preceding
categories.

Persons residing in localities,
states, or countries in which this contest is prohibited
by law.
WINNER NOTIFICATION:

Winner will be notified on December 31,
2009 by e-mail, phone, or mail.

Winner will be asked to call in and
send proof of identification at that time.

Winner must give consent for his/her
name and likeness to appear in an IU newsletter
announcement and other literature regarding the laptop
contest.
