At Independence University, we believe you shouldn’t have to pay for courses you’ve already taken. If you’ve gone to college before, bring your transcripts to us! We’ll help you figure out whether your credits are eligible for transfer to save you precious time and money on your education.
Don’t know where to find your transcripts? Talk to us. We can point you in the right direction.
And, unlike some schools that charge you for transfer credits, we don’t. It’s all part of the IU advantage.
Want to find out whether your credits are eligible for transfer to Independence University? All you have to do is talk to one of our admissions consultants. Together, we will go over your high school and college transcripts to see if any courses you’ve taken may apply toward a degree at IU. If you need help getting a hold of your transcripts, talk to us. We can probably help.
Lots of students have miscellaneous credits from attending community college. Finding out that some of your credits won’t be included in your degree can be frustrating, even discouraging. If you have credits from a community college, let us see whether we can map them toward a degree at IU. We’ll make sure you get every eligible credit.
Exams from advanced placement (AP) courses you took in high school or college may be eligible for credit transfer to any of Independence University’s programs. If you have AP courses under your belt, simply speak with one of our admissions consultants, and we’ll figure out whether or not your credits can be transferred to IU.
At IU, there’s more than just a few ways to earn college credit. In addition to the above-mentioned resources, you can transfer or earn college credits at IU through: College-Level Examination Program (CLEP), college-recognized certifications (such as Cisco Certified Network Associate® or Microsoft Office Specialist®), or competency examination. Talk to us to find out what credits you may be eligible for.
Independence University admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin.
